This document summarizes interviews conducted with migrants moving between India and Europe. It finds that the majority of temporary migrants fall into the categories of students or high-skilled workers, mostly moving between India and countries like Italy, Germany, and France. There is also growing lifestyle migration beyond just tourism. While cultural differences remain significant, knowledge of English facilitates integration. Remittances from Europe to India are more substantial than the reverse. Suggestions include making bureaucratic processes more efficient, addressing safety concerns, and providing services to support temporary migrants.
