The Teachers must esteem the section
assigned to them for, serving the poor, they
 serve and honor Jesus most particularly.
They shall be encouraged with holy
 fervor to lead aright these precious deposits
    of Jesus, not despising their ignorance,
neither their ill-breeding, not even the defects
                of these poor girls.
To achieve this they should ask from God in
  prayer a spirit of Zeal, of meekness and
 humility, besides being vigilant and active,
  prudent, firm, and full of tender charity.
They must be wholly dependent on the Head
  Teacher, giving her, on determined days,
account with justice, simplicity, and receiving
advice as a duty, and acting under her orders
   especially in unforeseen difficulties and
     when it is necessary to impose an
         extraordinary punishment.
At the same time that they show affection and
  gentleness to the young girls, they should
  strive that the girls do not lose confidence
in the Head Teacher, taking care not to solicit
   them for themselves to the diminution of
the Head Teacher, and only when authorized
  by the Head Teacher and in certain cases
  can they admit the confidence of the girls.
Simplicity should govern the lessons,
not adding nor taking away nothing from the
Regulations. Religion is the principal object
         in the plan of the Teacher.
They should never allow familiarity with the
     girls, maintaining their dignity, and
avoiding, by their false spirit of kindness and
  humility, that the girls come to domineer
them, thus losing their authority and dignity.
They should have before them the Rules;
  they should keep watch over themselves,
    repressing all vivacity and all external
emotion. When it is necessary to reprimand
the guilty, they should avoid hurting words of
anger and disdain, they should always have
   before them the simplicity, affability, and
         meekness of our God Jesus.
This meekness which is the daughter of
 charity should be observed in all their
conduct, particularly when they have to
     pardon their defects mutually.
The Teacher should avoid talking in a
haughty and imperious tone, acquired from
the habit of teaching before the class, when
   talking among themselves, with other
 persons, or with the community. If anyone
 has a natural inclination to this defect, she
    must be glad on being reprimanded.
They contribute to the
creation of the climate of
freedom, simplicity,
cordiality and joy through
their attitude and dealings.
They show concern for the
particular person they educate and
are attentive to this person’s needs
as well as his personal and social
characteristics. Recognizing the
dignity of each one, they are equally
open to all with special attention to
those who need it more.

Love is the preeminent value
that leads them to demand
with serenity and firmness, to
give timely correction, to
approach with kindness. They
are open to dialogue and
maintain a sincere and close
communication.
They act with
maturity, balance,
critical sense, justice
and objectivity.
They fulfill their work with
responsibility and professional
seriousness, and have capacity for
teamwork. Open to renewal and
updating, they put themselves into
it, although this requires dedication
and renunciation, so that they can
adapt themselves better to the
needs of those they educate.
They strive to educate with their
whole being, giving those they
educate a witness of life coherent
with their Christian option or with
the ethical principles of honesty
and uprightness, showing
particular sensitivity to those who
are poorest.

They consider themselves
responsible members of the
educative community; they
respect the identity of the
center by contributing their
ideas and collaborating in the
development and attainment of
common objectives.
They act with
maturity, balance,
critical sense, justice
and objectivity.

At the same time that they show affection and gentleness to the young girls, they should strive that the girls do not lose confidence in the Head Teacher, taking care not to solicit them for themselves to the diminution of the Head Teacher, and only when authorized by the Head Teacher and in certain cases can they admit the confidence of the girls.
  • 7. Simplicity should govern the lessons, not adding nor taking away nothing from the Regulations. Religion is the principal object in the plan of the Teacher.
  • 8. They should never allow familiarity with the girls, maintaining their dignity, and avoiding, by their false spirit of kindness and humility, that the girls come to domineer them, thus losing their authority and dignity.
  • 9. They should have before them the Rules; they should keep watch over themselves, repressing all vivacity and all external emotion. When it is necessary to reprimand the guilty, they should avoid hurting words of anger and disdain, they should always have before them the simplicity, affability, and meekness of our God Jesus.
  • 10. This meekness which is the daughter of charity should be observed in all their conduct, particularly when they have to pardon their defects mutually.
  • 11. The Teacher should avoid talking in a haughty and imperious tone, acquired from the habit of teaching before the class, when talking among themselves, with other persons, or with the community. If anyone has a natural inclination to this defect, she must be glad on being reprimanded.

  • 18. They strive to educate with their whole being, giving those they educate a witness of life coherent with their Christian option or with the ethical principles of honesty and uprightness, showing particular sensitivity to those who are poorest. .
  • 19. They consider themselves responsible members of the educative community; they respect the identity of the center by contributing their ideas and collaborating in the development and attainment of common objectives.
