Queen Peach wore jeans and a t-shirt to a job interview to subvert expectations, as she did not care about getting the job. This casual clothing linked to the narrative that it was a bad interview. In contrast, the interviewer Mrs. Mends wore smarter, more presentable clothing like a blazer, as she took her job seriously and cared about who she employed. Mrs. Mends' clothing matched how she spoke professionally throughout the interview.

group we decided that it would be best
for Peach to dress in jeans and t-shirt.
This linked to the narrative of the task as
it is a bad job interview and subverts the
stereotype of a good interview where
the interviewee is dressed in very smart
clothing. Also in the interview this
character doesntcare about getting the
job hence we thought it was bestfor the
character to dress in this way.
On the right is presented Mrs Mends who
is the interviewer. In comparisonto how
the interviewee is dressed Mrs Mends
(Skye) is dressedin a much smarter way
as she cares about her job and who she
would employ. This is enhanced as the
way how she speaks throughout the task
goes in line with how she is dressed.This
is a smart/casual look however; it is more
presentable than what Queen Peach
would wear.
