What can be done in addition to Cornell notes?
• Add practice activities to the grammar or vocabulary sections of the notes.
• Keep the questions in the higher-thinking range.
• If using in the classroom, have them speak the vocabulary as they write the
vocabulary.
• When completing practice activities, make sure they are speaking as they
write.
• Check the notes to make sure they are complete.
