This document defines and compares posters, banners, pamphlets, and brochures. Posters are used for temporary promotion and contain simple statements and images to advertise an idea or event. Banners are large flags or pieces of cloth with logos or slogans, usually made of cloth. Pamphlets are small booklets that provide information rather than direct advertising. Brochures are multi-page folded papers that provide detailed product information. While they contain information for the public and have good graphic design, their purposes, forms, and usages differ.
