● Ensure safety for a community of 34 upperclass residents, as well as the residential side of campus by
undergoing constant training to handle crisis situations and to enforce polices
● Mediate conflicts between students by bringing the individuals in and discussing the conflicts at hand, then
facilitating a discussion and intervening when necessary
● Act as a counselor to students who need someone to talk to; encourage students to talk with me about problems
they are having related to school, and life in general; provide a strong support system
● Participate in an administrative role by completing paperwork and documentations of policy violations by a
specific and tight deadline
● Always demonstrate professionalism and composure in tough situations, including handling angry students
being confronted by policy violations
● Undergo intensive training on how to handle confrontations in numerous different common scenarios
● Confined to strict confidentiality by keeping things that we are told, or that we witness, private unless there is a
concern for the personal safety of the individual(s) involved
● Serve the Lexington community through a yearly partnership with Big Brothers/Big Sisters through an event
called Crimson Christmas where we help give Christmas to a child who otherwise go without
● Undergo yearly First Aid, Green Dot (interpersonal violence prevention), suicide prevention, and Title IX
mandatory reporting training

● Plan weekly youth group discussions and bible studies by coming up with questions, activities, skits, videos to
watch,etc. that fit into our larger monthly and/or weekly theme

offering support and care to each of them
