B. Off the Job Training Method
Trainees have to leave their
workplace and devote their entire
time to the training. In these
methods development of trainees is
primary and work produced during

method, trainees place their entire
concentration on learning the job
rather than spending their time
performing. It also provides freedom

Process of Designing a Training Program:

Determining the need and
Priorities for Training
2
Translating needs into Objectives and Establishing
Training Goals
3
Making the Curriculum and
Choosing Training Methods
4
Preparation of training budget

Considering Responses to Training and
Development Opportunities
it is important to for management to conduct survey
and consider the responses of individuals based on
survey statistics results.
Different people have different orientations to training,
or personal development.
Some rejoice when it is offered and some shudder in
dread.
Their previous experience will be a big factor in how
they react so it is important that whatever you do this
time helps to set the scene for next time.
