Christian Fletcher of Australia was awarded First Prize in the inaugural International Landscape Photographer of the Year competition in 2014. His prize-winning photos documented the impacts of industry on natural landscapes from an aerial perspective. Fletcher aimed to spark discussion about the sustainability of industrial activities through striking images not normally seen by the public. He believes landscape photography has a duty to capture both pristine wilderness and evidence of industrial activity.

Health Promotion and cookery demonstration for Migrant Care Workers Wednesday 10th November 2010 The Netwell Centre, Dundalk Institute of Technology is hosting a health promotion talk and cookery demonstration for migrant care workers of older people in the community. Eating a varied and balanced diet is important for healthy ageing. This demonstration will help highlight to care workers the significance of a nutrient rich diet in later life.
