2. Image There aretwo medium shot images, they are not very large and are placed on either side of the page. They do not have a caption under the picture stating who the image is of; however they have placed the image under/above the page number and mini-description of who they are. The two images are of The Birdman and Mack Maine; the two artists are not included on the front cover which is unconventional. The main image on the front page is of Lil Wayne, Drake and NickiMinaj (represents their importance to the audience) and have sections about them over 10pages long. It states on the contents page the two artists are key members in Young Money (which the magazine is based on) - The Birdman ‘is the reason Cash Money/Young Money even exists’ - Mack Maine ‘President of Young Money’ not being on the front cover shows that they do not have such a big audience as Lil Wayne, NickiMinaj and Drake The Birdman and Mack Maine are both wearing sunglasses this could be a representation of their high status within Young Money. 3. Layout The layout of the content page numbers and text is set out in a table form of two blocks each one has a photo and there is a last column that contains all the people that have been involved in the editing of the magazine The is a box in the corner that advertising their website

Colour There is a continuous use of black and red throughout the whole magazine including the images on the contents page- the artists are also wearing black, white and red to continue this colour scheme. Red is used for the numbers and black for the page titles – this makes the artist’s names stand out on the page

5. Text The artist’s names are followed by a brief description of who that artist is. The language used is colloquial and urban slang such as “swag; peep game; holdin it down in the booth; git’down; hype” and much more. This makes it more appealing and interesting to read for the youth generations The artist’s names are the page titles they are bold and black and eye catching making it easy for the reader to find articles of artists of their choice; while the numbers are a brighter colour and slightly bigger sized so it stands out to the reader.
