Content’s a funny beast: it's both part of our web projects, and outside of them. You need to define your strategy and work with real content during the design process, and also prepare people for all the implications of your decisions: rewriting, reorganizing, archiving, migrating, and a million other tasks that take time, skill, and planning—not to mention all the stuff people will post and change after launch.
But you’re a project manager, not an everything-all-the-time manager. How can you guide all that content work that exists beyond your project’s boundaries without losing sight of your scope? In this talk, you’ll learn how to create a parallel process for content—one where the content decisions made within the design process are vetted against real-world constraints, and where PMs can rally the right people at the right time to keep content on track.
Getting it Right: Building Quality into your Content (July 2014)Joe Gollner
This presentation was delivered as a webinar hosted by STC France on July 8, 2014.
This talk focused on the steps to be taken to design quality into your content assets and to then see that quality realized in high quality information products.

Here are the highlights of the publishing management solution that can change the way. We would be glad to be approached to discuss the avenues of your benefit deriving from investing in a publishing solution!
A bit of a retrospective. Back in the spring of 2005, I delivered this presentation at a Defense Software Symposium. The idea was that if we manage the knowledge behind a software system properly we can create, integrate, manage, and evolve that software far more effectively than we have in the past. This discussion proceeded with reference to very large and very complex software engineering and integration projects.
This session provides information on how to best implement a Document Management System within SharePoint. All elements used to create a DMS are explained in detail and best practices are provided as well.
You need to submit the term project you had selected in Module 1. .docxjeffevans62972
You need to submit the term project you had selected in Module 1. The purpose of the project is to give you an opportunity to apply what you have learned in the course.
A project management plan is a document that is used to guide and control a project. It includes a project overview, structure, processes, requirements, risk, schedule, deliverables and budget.
Use the headings provided in textbook Chapter 4, Section Project Management Plan Contents (Pages 161-164) to create a project management plan for the term project you have chosen.
Include the Project Charter and Project Scope Statement in the Appendix.
Your work should be submitted in a Word document, 8-12 pages in length (including the appendices), typed in double-space, in 10- or 12-point Arial or Times New Roman font. The page margins on the top, bottom, left side, and right side should be 1 inch each. You should use the APA guidelines for writing and citations
Choose a topic from ‘http://behaviouralfinance.net/’.
A. Write a 6 to 8 page paper on the subject.
B. Construct a 10-minute presentation and present your topic to the class.
C. All assignments are due on the last day of the course.
Outline of a ‘research project’:
Section 1: Theory
In section 1 of your document, you should examine where, when, and by who your particular research topic was conceived and what it ‘looked’ like at that time. Your research should include the seminal work that laid the foundation for your topic.
Section 2: Present
In section 2 of your document, you should examine how the theoretical base of your topic has evolved over time. The objective here is to bring your topic to the present and engage in research related to recent articles published on this topic.
Section 3: Application
In section 3 of your document, you should find some way to apply this theoretical base to a business case / scenario. How does this topic affect us, influence us? How can we leverage our knowledge of this topic to make better business decisions? Is your topic ‘empirical’, can you construct an analysis to test it?

TOWARDS AUTOMATION OF SOA-BASED BUSINESS PROCESSESIJCSEA Journal
The adoption of business processes to design business activities is becoming a reality to a significant number of companies. In addition, the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is being used in diverse situations for the execution of business processes using computational resources. In this context, the need of business process automation appears with high relevance. In this work, we present a solution named BPA-SOA, which aims to automate SOA-based business processes, specified in BPMN, into WS-BPEL executable processes. In BPA-SOA, business and service information can be specified at the business level, translated into executable artifacts, deployed in execution-level resources and enforced at runtime. An illustrative scenario is presented to better illustrate and showcase the proposed solution.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.
