THEATRICAL POSTER
I didn't choose these ones as the
model's top could be seen, and I
only wanted the denim-on-
denim jacket/jeans to be seen.
These photos look good the
corridor is nice and long.
However, they are a bit wonky,
but I can sort this out on
Photoshop by rotating it to
make it look straight therefore
I have chosen these ones.
I chose these photos as they look
good the corridor is long(ish) the
model can be seen clearly along
with the baseball bat and their
costume.
I didn't choose these ones as I
don't like how the door is
closed as it makes the corridor
look short.
QUAD POSTER
I wanted to see what look like if I had
the model looking off to one side, but I
don't really like it as I feel it didn't have
the same impact it has on the ones
where they are looking directly at the
camera. Therefore, I will not be using
them.
I chose these photos as they look
perfect the models, facial expression
is great along with the lighting and
changing the shot from a mid shot to
is a lot better as it focuses on the
model's facial expression more.
I did not choose, these photos as
I feel like the use of the mid shot
didn’t focus enough on the
model's face. Also, the model's
facial expression does not look
scared enough.
SAFE PRACTISE
When taking all these photos I considered the
risk assessment I took. For the corridor shoots, I
made sure that no one was walking down the
specific corridor and if they were I politely told
them I was doing a photo shoot so they know I
was not taking a photo of them, and I would also
let them pass if they needed to go some where,
because of the time I chose to do this not many
people were walking through the corridors. Also,
in the end I did not dim the lights of the corridor
as this is a public space Then for the studio shoot,
I only used one light and when moving it I turned
it off and held it on the lower part of the pole
carefully and slowly moving it. There were no
liquids present during the shoot, so I did not
need to worry about this risk. Lastly the wires
were all moved to one side of the studio which I
considered and told anyone who was in the room
about the wires. In my opinion I feel my safe
practice was successful as no one got hurt.
PHOTO LOG
After taking these photos I looked through them all, created a
quad and theatrical poster folder then put them in sub folders
of the good and bad photos so that I could chose which photo
I will use for the final posters. In the end I chose not to use any
photos of the corridor by itself as the corridor with
protagonist ones were successful.
