I believe that there are many problems with consumerism:
 New technologies are very expensive for teenagers to buy.
 We buy expensive clothes for the brand.
 We buy objects only because others have it.
 There are many objects, clothes, shoes, food etc. that we buy, just
because they are cheap.
3. HOW DOES CONSUMERISM AFFECT US?
Non- renewable
resources are exhausted.
 By consuming more
than necessary, more is
produced and in the
future it may be more
difficult to obtain certain
materials.
Economic crises and
prices increases.
There are large
amounts of trash from
getting rid of unnecessary
objects that we buy.

• Avoid deceptive advertising.
• Practice downshifting.
• Consume only what you need.
• Buy things that you like only if they are
necessary and useful.
