Consumer basket HM June 2016
The document compares the prices of 11 common grocery products from 4 Romanian retailers (Cora, Kaufland, Real, Carrefour) in June 2016. It finds that Kaufland had the lowest total basket price of 63.82 RON. For products not on promotion, average 2015 prices were used. Carrefour would have had the lowest basket price of 59.58 RON if all products were promoted. Price differences between retailers for individual products like sparkling water, flour, and eggs are also shown.
