Consider
Caleb

           Joshua 14.6-15,
             CB OT p. 352
But my servant Caleb, because he has a
different spirit and has followed me fully, I
will bring into the land into which he went,
and his descendants shall possess it.
                       (Numbers 14:24, CB OT p. 227)
I wholly
followed Jehovah my
        God.
Jehovah has
kept me alive, just as
      He said
I am this day 85
   years old
I am still as strong
today as I was in the day that
        Moses sent me
my strength now is as my
strength was then, for war and
     for going and coming
So now give me this hill
country of which Jehovah
    spoke on that day
for you heard on
that day how the Anakim
  were there, with great
      fortified cities
It may be that
Jehovah will be with me, and I
shall drive them out just as
         Jehovah said.
Caleb 85 years old

So we do no lose heart.
Though our outer self is
wasting away, our inner
self is being renewed day
by day.
(2 Corinthians 4.16, CB NT p. 316)
Caleb 85 years old
Caleb 85 years old

They still bear fruit in old
age; they are ever full of
sap and green, to declare
that Jehovah is upright
      (Psalm 92.14, CB OT p. 937)
Caleb 85 years old

I have fought the good
fight, I have finished the
race, I have kept the faith.
