Turkish primary, secondary schools however; 620.000 children are out of education
system. 450.000 children are planned to be integrated to education system till 2017. !

Observed problems
• Turkish education system is designed for Turkish and using latin alphabet. There
are limited resource on arab backgrounded teachers and educational materials.

• The Syrian refugee children outside the camps are dispersed in different cities. It is
hard to create education related logistic channels with current conservational
approaches.

• Refugee children are helping family and working in day time.
!
• Lack of role-models and not having a good psychological state

Future context:
Naturalization of refugees:
These refugee children are going to stay in host countries and never return back original
country;therefore, they don’t need education in their mother language and need naturalization
process. They need to learn the host language, culture and so on.

Familiarization activités:
These refugee children are going to return their country when the dilemma is solved. They
need to rebuild their country and for that reason essential skills, culture are important to gain
during war period.

After each session, the classroom owner can check recorded session and report any
unacceptable behavior. Kids are also going to be questioned if there is any abuse situation
which will be shared with government authorities.
