Aim of the Conference:
There is no doubt that biotechnology research offer great potential for
sustainable development. Although advanced biotechnology-based research is costly,
it is still the sole hope for developing countries worldwide to catch. Most of
developing countries committed themselves to rely on science and technology to
overcome poverty and diseases. Fortunately most of these countries still have some
advantages to benefit from gene revolution, such as high degree of biodiversity, very
rich natural genetic resources and highly qualified human resources received their
training and postgraduate education abroad. Developing countries including Middle
East and Arab countries suffering, to some extent, from the same agricultural and
heath problems, having the same dreams and hopes. On the other hand, International
organizations and developed world would like to support and to develop real
partnership for the benefits of the both sides. This conference is an initiative effort
aiming at merging scientific communities of developing, Middle East and Arabic
countries to exchange knowledge and experience and to increase the awareness of
scientists in the field with scientific capabilities and chances for collaboration.
Creating of such atmosphere will facilitate developing of real multinational
cooperation and networking among developing countries and advanced scientific
schools worldwide. The conference will discuss in details, the on going
biotechnology-based efforts to solve the most common agricultural and health
problems of the area. The topics of the conference will cover plant biotechnology,
medical biotechnology, animal biotechnology, microbial biotechnology, biodiversity
and bioactive materials.

The registration fee includes local transportation, bag of the conference, proceeding of
