Group 1 concluded that the B1 English certification is very important, especially for getting jobs, and that more bilingual schools would be beneficial. Speaking English is easier than other skills, and people need English to communicate with others. Group 2 found that people want to pass the B1 exam for university but find the exam too expensive, so they prefer to improve their English through academic courses. Group 3's research showed university students have a low English level and negative views of the B1 exam. Most study for it due to degree requirements, dedicating only an hour weekly. Better English teaching and opportunities to practice are needed. The B1 is important for careers and life. Group 4 believes the B1 certificate is important for university

“In my opinion the B1is very important, because it is necessary to get a job and we
think that there should be more bilingual schools. In addition, especially little
children learn better a language. In conclusion we should give more importance to
English and use it as an useful too!”
Speaking is the more easier part.

“We have been researching and we have concluded that the people want overcome
the B1exam by achieve a university degree but their consider that B1 exam’s prize is
very expensive as a result of the prefer to go by to be trained to academic of English
and nearby they think better oneself on their level of English.”

“Our research let us know something about the university student´s community; the
B1 is of the language and unfortunately the results show in a general view a really
low level of English and really bad perspective about the B1.
Mostly the main motivation for learn English is research the B1because it´s a
requirement for the get the degree. Observing the hours that the majority of the
respondents dedicate to the language that is of 1 hour. Maybe the main reason of
that is the way we have learnt English and the shortage of chances for real practice
that make us think that English is not really useful, and just another thing for learn
and forget.
For change that problem we can offer in school, also activities for understand and
use the language like what it is a tool for communication and learning.
The B1 is very important not only for the career but for life in general, it is basic to
at least master a language other than your native to be able to communicate with
people of other countries and with other customs and experiences.”
