This document provides extracts from successful concept notes submitted for previous rounds of the GPAF Community Partnership funding. It shares responses to questions about the need and design of proposed projects. For one extract, the response describes increasing poverty in rural Cameroon and how a beekeeping project run by three organizations would train communities and improve access to markets for honey and beeswax, addressing MDGs on poverty, environment, and women's empowerment. A second extract outlines a project in Kenya that would increase incomes, enroll more children in school, and promote peace through alternative livelihoods for 940 families across 6 communities.
