The document is a newsletter from the Business Council of Mongolia covering business, economic, and political news highlights from Mongolia. This project proposal aims to survey exploration holes at Makomo Resources' main pit to calculate stripping ratios for mining block cut 7. The objectives are to establish control points, set up a baseline, traverse the area, survey exploration holes, and calculate volumes and stripping ratios. This will help determine the overburden and coal to be mined, providing an updated mining plan as required by regulations. The methodology will include office and field reconnaissance, establishing a baseline, triangulation, spotting exploration holes, and calculating volumes and stripping ratios. The expected results are cross-sectional plans, a surface plan, volume calculations, and stripping ratios.
The Prime Minister of Mongolia discussed Mongolia's economic outlook and challenges in an interview. He stated that Mongolia expects around 8% GDP growth in 2010 and over 10% growth for the next 5 years. Mongolia is a major exporter of coal and copper to China and aims to increase processing industries to create jobs. The main economic problem is managing mining wealth to reduce poverty levels and potential social tensions. The Prime Minister aims to channel wealth to combat poverty and is considering economic models of resource-rich nations like Canada, Chile and hybrid models.
Two large iron ore reserves in Punjab have potential to be developed but require further study. The Chichiali reserve is a low-grade surface deposit that will require on-site beneficiation and extraction pilots. The Chiniot/Rajoa reserve has high-grade underground ore that also requires pilots to develop an extraction process. Both reserves need updated geological studies and mining strategies before full commercial development.
The document outlines a roadmap to extract iron ore reserves in Punjab, Pakistan and convert it to steel. It discusses two major iron ore reserves - a low-grade surface deposit in Chichali and a high-grade underground deposit in Chiniot/Rajoa. For the Chichali reserves, it proposes a two-stage process of on-site beneficiation to produce enriched ore, followed by smelting in a blast furnace. It recommends further studies to re-authenticate the reserves and develop an appropriate mining and beneficiation pilot plant to process samples from the site. Finally, it envisions a $1 billion commercial steel mill project in Kalabagh based on the results.
This document provides a summary of business and economic news from Mongolia in Issue 160 dated March 25, 2011 from the Business Council of Mongolia newsletter. Key highlights include:
- Prophecy Resource is ready to export 520,000 tons of coal from its Ulaan Ovoo mine in Mongolia to Russia and other countries starting in April.
- Hunnu Coal reports majority interests in 13 coal projects in Mongolia with total JORC resources of 414 million tons reported so far from its projects.
- Assay results from Aspire Mining's Ovoot Coking Coal Project indicate the coal has a very high theoretical yield to produce a product with low ash content and high coking

Commercial and investment opportunities exist for two very distinct large scale reserves that have awaited development for decades in this province. The projects have not moved beyond early prospecting stage. The availability of this mineral resource in two separate areas of the province needs to be first authenticated through a detailed bankable geological study, separately in
each. This will be followed by development of separate mining strategies for each area and the scale on which mining is anticipated to be undertaken because mining strategies - and associated unit extraction costs - are often scale

ONGC has started exploratory drilling off the coast of Kochi, India to depths of 6,500 meters, which would be the deepest exploration in the region. The exploration requires Rs. 400 crore and will take 6-7 years to determine if there are commercially viable oil or gas reserves. Past exploratory wells in the region found indications of hydrocarbons but no large commercial fields. The current deep drilling aims to better understand the oil and gas potential under the seabed rocks. If resources are found, it would represent a major boost to India's energy security.

Concept mining receives temporary permit for drill program at a new mining site
1. Concept Mining Receives Temporary Permit
for Drill Program at a New Mining Site
The work forms part of the Phase 1 exploration program and results, if positive, will be
incorporated into a resource estimate.
Chengdu, July 03, 2016 -- Concept Mining, a lithium exploration and development
company with a focus on becoming a low-cost supplier for the lithium battery industry,
announced today the possibility of adding the third mining project to its portfolio.
The Company has received the necessary work permits from to complete five drill holes
at its New Lithium Project (the “Project”) in China. The name of the mining site will be
announced at a later date upon the interpretations of the first findings.
The Company is permitted to drill five exploration holes on two drill sites that will target
potential lithium-brine-bearing formations, including a basal gravel aquifer that lies at the
base of the valley. The initial drill program was designed by Roger Guanqiu, Chief
Hydrogeologist for Concept Mining, with assistance from Fu Zhaobai, the Company’s
VP of Project Development. A third site, consisting of two drill holes, shall be
determined based on the results of these first two drill sites.
“We are pleased to have permits in hand for the first phase of drilling and are now in the
process of securing equipment and drill crews,” said Concept Mining CEO, Gong R.
Ningning. “We are progressing well and anticipate collaring our first exploration core
hole in the third quarter.”
The Company expects to drill these holes to a depth that will intersect the gravel aquifer
in the lower part of the basin, which is expected to be approximately 450 meters. Each
drill site is expected to consist of two closelyspaced holes (one diamond core hole and
another rotary) to maximize data collectionfor the initial resource.
