Accomplishments
Developed an Army Service Component Command’s Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for operating
in a degraded Space environment, which enabled employees to solve strategic problems more efficiently
and quickly.
Coordinated the 1st Space Brigade staff actions necessary to move a Wideband Satellite Operations
Center (WSOC) from Camp Roberts, CA to Wahiawa, HI, including12 major communications control
assemblages and property valued in excess of $25 million, while maintaining 24/7/365 mission command
and operations, which gave the Department of Defense (DoD) a strategic advantage in controlling the
payloads of wideband satellites.
Planned and coordinated the $18 million relocation of the 1st Space Brigade to an off-post leased building
while saving the brigade over $4 million in cost saving decisions, which gave the brigade a facility in
which to operate at the proper classification while their permanent relocation to Fort Carson was being
planned and built.
Planned and executed special programs in overseas Contingency Operations which led to the execution
or capture of 13 enemy leaders and saved the lives of over 300 coalition forces.
Experience
Space Operations and Intelligence Officer, USARPAC HQ, Fort Shafter, HI July 2013 to Current
 Primary responsibility and subject matter expert for all space based capabilities (Satellite Command
and Control (C2), Space Situational Awareness, Space planning, Missile Warning, Position
Navigation and Timing) and activities that affect the PACOM Theater of operations.
 Integrated, planned and coordinated space based capabilities and products (national, military and
commercial) to support Theater Army command/control, which ensured mission accomplishments.
 Planned, integrated and coordinated space operations engagements and opportunities for regional
partners under the Theater Campaign Plan, which enhanced Army relationships with partner nations.
 Analyzed/provided recommendations for implementation of space operations in Theater according to
national and strategic policies and directives, which brought a new capability into Theater.
 Facilitated augmentation by space forces when required, which ensured reach back to all supported
forces and provided space support to Joint, Theater, Command and subordinate exercise programs.
Deputy Chief Space Support Element, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, KS Jan 2012 to Jul 2013
 Developed, coordinated, and executed compartmentalized programs while deployed in combat
operations, which provided effects in support of the Combatant Commander's operational priorities.
 Developed and maintained time sensitive Concept of Operations briefings, which brought national
assets to support combat operations.
 Served as the staff lead for Alternate Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM), managing access
and reading personnel on to the programs, ensuring those programs maintained proper security.
 Integrated and de-conflicted special programs, ACCM, and Information Operations (IO) effects
across the staff and with DoD, Joint Staff, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), National Security
Agency (NSA), and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), which enabled complicated special
programs to compliment and enhance other programs’ effects on the battlefield.
 Delivered space capabilities, products, and expertise in support of operations, which provided space
force enhancement, space-based surveillance coordination, blue force tracking expertise and
battlefield analysis and characterization.
1st Space Brigade Plans Officer, SMDC/ARSTRAT, Peterson AFB, CO Nov 2009 to Dec 2011
 Planned the1st Space Brigade staff actions necessary to relocate D Company, 53rd Signal Battalion
from Camp Roberts, CA to Wahiawa, HI, while maintaining 24/7/365 mission command and
operations, which provided increased capabilities to control the communications payload and
communications transmissions of the Defense Satellite Communications Systems (DSCS) and
Wideband Global Satellite Communications (WGS) constellations.
 Developed specific exercise scenarios for 53rd Signal Battalion’s participation in major warfighter
exercises, which prepared and tested Soliders on technical problems outside of the Command
Inspection and Evaluation Program (CIEP).
 Provided quality and control oversight from the 1st Space Brigade during the 53rd Signal Battalion’s
CIEP for D Company which moved them from the Initial Operational Capability (IOC) phase to the
Final Operational Capability (FOC) phase.
 Planned, coordinated, and resourced the training, preparation, and deployment of Space Brigade
Soldiers in support of Overseas Contingency Operations and multiple warfighter exercises, which
enabled tactical commanders to utilize space assets to improve the efficiency of their operations .
 Integrated Army space assets to support Geographic Combatant Commanders, Numbered Armies,
Conventional and Special Operation Joint Task Forces, Corps, Marine Expeditionary Forces, and
National Agencies, which resulted in more accurate weapons use, better location of blue and red
forces, and better isolation of interference on satellite communications (SATCOM).
 Coordinated and synchronized with the higher headquarters and subordinate units, which facilitated
proper command relationships for over 17 deployed 1st Space Brigade teams.
Signal Corps Officer, Fort Hood, TX; Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Oct 2005 to Nov 2009
 Provided tactical and strategic command and control communications during all worldwide
contingency missions, resulting in 99% communications rate.
 Provided leadership of up to 40 people, maintaining accountability and ensuring all mandatory Army
training requirements were met while exceeding the mission goals of the organization.
 Ensured all subordinates were regularly guided and given professional development on job
performance, including a plan of action to progress in the job field, resulting in 12 subordinates being
recognized for excellence and 100% promotion rate.
 Influenced subordinates on the importance of higher education and helped subordinates develop
goals to reach in achieving a degree, resulting in an increase of enrollment in higher education from
36% to 74%.
Satellite Network Coordinator, Peterson AFB, CO, 1st SATCON Battalion, Jul 2001 to Jan 2005
 Inspected and evaluated the training programs for 1st SATCON Battalion companies who
commanded the DSCSOCs, ensuring that all Army and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)
training requirements were met to standard.
 Revised and updated the 1st SATCON Training and Evaluation Program (1STEP) Guide, which
resulted in the Soldiers of the DSCSOCs operating at the highest levels of competence.
 Reviewed and edited all SATCOM policy and programs doctrinal publications tasked for review,
contributing to the accuracy and timeliness of those publications.
Satellite Network Coordinator, Landstuhl Germany, 1st SATCON Battalion, Dec 1997 to Jun 2001
 Certified in DSCS Satellite Configuration Control Element, Senior DSCS Controller, Satellite Network
Controller, Ground Mobile Forces Satellite Communications Network Controller, and Frequency
Division Multiple Access Network Controller, which resulted in improved accuracy and efficiency on
the DSCS network.
 Operated/maintained a $35 million satellite network control facility resulting in 99.93% operational
rate.
 Monitored and commanded five DSCS satellites (in excess of $390 million), which resulted in
improved health and welfare of the network.
 Coordinated and controlled satellite communications for the DoD, White House Communications
Agency, Diplomatic Telecommunications Service, and Ground Mobile Forces deployed throughout
Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, which resulted in combat troops gaining needed, reliable
access to military satellites.
 Collected data on and analyzed the DSCS network, resulting in identifying unauthorized users, proper

Planned and coordinated the $18 million relocation of the 1st Space Brigade to an off-post leased building while saving the brigade over $4 million in cost saving decisions, which gave the brigade a facility in which to operate at the proper classification while their permanent relocation to Fort Carson was being planned and built. Planned and executed special programs in overseas Contingency Operations which led to the execution or capture of 13 enemy leaders and saved the lives of over 300 coalition forces.   • 2.  Facilitated augmentation by space forces when required, which ensured reach back to all supported forces and provided space support to Joint, Theater, Command and subordinate exercise programs. Deputy Chief Space Support Element, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, KS Jan 2012 to Jul 2013  Developed, coordinated, and executed compartmentalized programs while deployed in combat operations, which provided effects in support of the Combatant Commander's operational priorities.  Developed and maintained time sensitive Concept of Operations briefings, which brought national assets to support combat operations.  Served as the staff lead for Alternate Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM), managing access and reading personnel on to the programs, ensuring those programs maintained proper security.  Integrated and de-conflicted special programs, ACCM, and Information Operations (IO) effects across the staff and with DoD, Joint Staff, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), National Security Agency (NSA), and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), which enabled complicated special programs to compliment and enhance other programs’ effects on the battlefield.  Delivered space capabilities, products, and expertise in support of operations, which provided space force enhancement, space-based surveillance coordination, blue force tracking expertise and battlefield analysis and characterization. 1st Space Brigade Plans Officer, SMDC/ARSTRAT, Peterson AFB, CO Nov 2009 to Dec 2011  Planned the1st Space Brigade staff actions necessary to relocate D Company, 53rd Signal Battalion from Camp Roberts, CA to Wahiawa, HI, while maintaining 24/7/365 mission command and operations, which provided increased capabilities to control the communications payload and communications transmissions of the Defense Satellite Communications Systems (DSCS) and Wideband Global Satellite Communications (WGS) constellations.  Developed specific exercise scenarios for 53rd Signal Battalion’s participation in major warfighter exercises, which prepared and tested Soliders on technical problems outside of the Command Inspection and Evaluation Program (CIEP).  Provided quality and control oversight from the 1st Space Brigade during the 53rd Signal Battalion’s CIEP for D Company which moved them from the Initial Operational Capability (IOC) phase to the Final Operational Capability (FOC) phase.  Planned, coordinated, and resourced the training, preparation, and deployment of Space Brigade Soldiers in support of Overseas Contingency Operations and multiple warfighter exercises, which enabled tactical commanders to utilize space assets to improve the efficiency of their operations .  Integrated Army space assets to support Geographic Combatant Commanders, Numbered Armies, Conventional and Special Operation Joint Task Forces, Corps, Marine Expeditionary Forces, and National Agencies, which resulted in more accurate weapons use, better location of blue and red forces, and better isolation of interference on satellite communications (SATCOM).  Coordinated and synchronized with the higher headquarters and subordinate units, which facilitated proper command relationships for over 17 deployed 1st Space Brigade teams.   • 3.  Inspected and evaluated the training programs for 1st SATCON Battalion companies who commanded the DSCSOCs, ensuring that all Army and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) training requirements were met to standard.  Revised and updated the 1st SATCON Training and Evaluation Program (1STEP) Guide, which resulted in the Soldiers of the DSCSOCs operating at the highest levels of competence.  Reviewed and edited all SATCOM policy and programs doctrinal publications tasked for review, contributing to the accuracy and timeliness of those publications. Satellite Network Coordinator, Landstuhl Germany, 1st SATCON Battalion, Dec 1997 to Jun 2001  Certified in DSCS Satellite Configuration Control Element, Senior DSCS Controller, Satellite Network Controller, Ground Mobile Forces Satellite Communications Network Controller, and Frequency Division Multiple Access Network Controller, which resulted in improved accuracy and efficiency on the DSCS network.  Operated/maintained a $35 million satellite network control facility resulting in 99.93% operational rate.  Monitored and commanded five DSCS satellites (in excess of $390 million), which resulted in improved health and welfare of the network.  Coordinated and controlled satellite communications for the DoD, White House Communications Agency, Diplomatic Telecommunications Service, and Ground Mobile Forces deployed throughout Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, which resulted in combat troops gaining needed, reliable access to military satellites.  Collected data on and analyzed the DSCS network, resulting in identifying unauthorized users, proper power balance of channels, carriers modulated correctly, and improved troubleshooting.
