This echocardiogram report documents a normal exam for a patient being evaluated for possible myocarditis. The left ventricle, atria, valves, and vessels were all normal in size and function. Specifically, the left ventricle had normal function with an ejection fraction of XX% and no regional abnormalities. Doppler examination found normal valve morphology and function. The conclusion was that there was no evidence of acute or chronic myocarditis, and the exam was unchanged from the patient's previous study.
