I would like to introduce myself, I am Glynis Nel and I am from Namibia on the West Coast of the African continent.
I look forward to writing and sharing Monthly Articles with all our community.
Namibia is a very harsh country with extreme heat in the summer and summer rains as well and a very mild and warm day temperature in
the winter, but winter evenings can be very cold
Some Namibians also speak a little of either Afrikaans or German, because of the country's historical links with Germany
The current population is about 2 557 407 that is people in the whole country.
Some of the country's smaller groups of peoples - like the San (or Bushmen) in the east and the Himba in the north - still keep to their age-
old nomadic or semi-nomadic lifestyles.
The country's largest ethnic group is the Ovambo (accounting for around half the population), with the Kavango, Herero, Damara, and
Caprivian peoples all having significant populations.
Among the San, men still hunt with bows and poison arrows, while women forage for edible plants, roots, wild fruits and berries across
the Kalahari.
The wages depends on the sort of job you have, the monthly payment low profile job is between $363 to $726 there are some young
people earning very good salaries but the most just come to the lowest amount.
The housing on the other hand for a very small flat the cost is $436 and a lot higher.
So if you have a flat on a salary per month $363 you are not even able to pay totally for the rent let alone still food and electricity and
water so most young people still stay with their parents.
Any commodity like beds. TV's fridges and so forth, these products range between $727 - $2126 there are some not so good quality that
you can get cheaper but they do not last as long.
We are the smallest country with the Fourth highest living costs in the world.
I had to retire from my job as a Gym Instructor as I was supposedly to old.
These are some of my favourite exercises and I walk more than 5KM a day. I also used to help rugby players with their physical training
and give overweight and obese people special exercises to loose weight and firm up.
When I was not working I looked around and then I found a flyer for online work, I did not have any idea how to do this as it was totally
new to me, but like I am I went for it and tried it as I could earn money as well.
At that time I did not know of the problems I would face by doing affiliate marketing. I learned very quickly that there were only a few
options open to me as we and most of the African continent are not able to use payment platforms like Paypal and all the others that there
are.
The other love I have is for animals, so when I heard that turtles were an endangered species we started to breed with them and once they
are big enough we set them free in the wild. We do keep some of them in order for them to breed.
This is meal time. These are such wonderful animals and they are super intelligent, we give them a variety of food mainly fruit and
vegetables green plants grasses of all sorts leaves and also lettuce leaves which is their favourite.

Leaders.

The point it is only the 12th of April. THE BIG O is a long term project.
Inactive Sponsors. Your inactive or unqualified sponsors will simply be skipped over when sign-ups come down the
stream.
Designated Diamonds are selected by SFI, based on three criteria:
Affiliates have to hold the minimum rank of BTL (Bronze Team Leader).
Affiliates must be opted-in to and participate in the new Opti-Build program.
If an affiliate's sponsor has more than five Team Leaders on his/her first level, at the end of the month, the affiliate will
need to be in the top five, based on rank to be a Designated Diamond for the upcoming month.
Let's say you have 3 Team Leaders who are DD, and they have 1 DD each.
So when you advertise and start receiving PSAs, (you choose 100% option on Opti -Build), those new affiliates will go
first to your 3 Team Leaders with DD (one to each) and then to your dowline members who are DD.
And not to forget if you are participating in this program and you are DD you will also receive affiliates from your

23. A good leader leads by example.
Never recommends an action to take with out first testing it themselves.

I try to stress the power of 5. Teaching 5 of my DD leaders the plan to follow.
Then they share with these 5 and these 5 share with their 5. So on and so on. Flowing down our 12 levels.
I have set up Leagues with four different games. Sharing links with all my team to sign up.
Then we have fun all month challenging each other.
I then reward the top five Members of each league Monthly.
Personally I share what I do daily with all my team via auto-responder news letters.
I have set up a SFI Group at Facebook for team brain storming and communicating.
I design each month a new E- Book Community Magazine.
Where I encourage all my members to send me articles about their life style, what their dreams and ambitions are.
There challenges and goals they have achieved for the month.
I list Individual articles about my challenges and what updates have happened this month at SFI.
So all members are kept up to date with changes.
Being part of our community. Letting them all know all of us started as newbies years ago with the same challenges.
I have done all the donkey work for them.
Testing ideas, investing thousands of hours and dollars researching on line.
Doing google searches to find advertising portholes solely for promoting SFI.
Testing them first using SFI Tracking Resources.
If I find I achieved results then I share newsletters with all my team.
First and most important. I communicate daily. I click the yellow blurp at SFI and chat with my team who are online.
Number one priority. I stress to all my team no question is silly.
This is how their knowledge will grow Ask away. Replying to all my team emails.

24. What Makes a Good SFI Team Leader.
This was a great forum post from My SFI sponsor Leon McKee
During 2015 I had a new PSA, from a different culture than mine, contact me and ask for a gift certificate. I started a dialog with
her and told her that I would help her learn to advertise her business and in that process I would co-op the costs with her. Her
response was that all she wanted was a gift certificate so she could make a purchase that month. My answer was no! She became
upset and told me I was a bad leader. She told me a good sponsor and leader would provide her with a gift certificate simply to
make a purchase. Again, I told her I would help her learn to build her business through Affiliate Marketing and even share in
the risk. She then rated me a 1. I was stunned!
I contacted a Team Leader from her culture and asked him about what I had just experienced. He explained to me that in their
culture being a sponsor had a different meaning. He also explained that in their political system being a leader had a different
meaning. Hmmm! I reassigned the Affiliate to him so he could help her. I really felt bad because I just did not know how to
help this Affiliate build her online business.
What happened? After 3 months the Affiliate in question opted-out of SFI. I followed up with the Team Leader and he told me
she never moved forward with building her online business. However, she did rate him a 5 each month over those 3 months.
Leadership like parenting is a challenge! You can say the exact same thing to two individuals and come to find out it was taken
two different ways. Some might praise while others may feel attacked. I guess we just have to have thick skin and move
forward. Moving in the right direction is WAY more important than having all the right answers.
Good leader are people that work hard to succeed, they are not people that are waiting for the money to come doing nothing to
obtain it.
Good leader are people that have a plan and follow it and share it with their team.
Good leader are people who educate themself ''read and learn'' everyday to grow their business called BRAIN.
My personal opinion, relative to Networking, is that good leaders impart strategies and provide actionable examples that allow
you to become self sufficient. Also, a good leader leads by example and takes the good news down and the bad news up! A good
leader does not MAJOR in the MINORS! Lastly, a good leader shows you it can be done because they've done it!
There's a saying down in the big state of Texas, USA: Do NOT be "BIG hat, NO cattle"... Leaders lead by doing and not just
talking!

I then viewed a U Tube Video Review.
I feel sometime the ECA ratings and reviews are not correct. As members do not know how to rate clicking the star
chart. So I read the reviews carefully. then decide.
SFI are brillant as I had made some purchases that were outright scams.
I reported them. SFI refunded me the cash and T credits I had spent.
Then they removed THE ECA Store from the SFI Network.

28. Most everyone these days will have some years of retirement from the workforce, God willing. I retired at 55 years
from a well paying civil service job as a psychologist in Canada after 26 years with the same employer.
About 20 years have passed so I will reflect on a few areas.
I looked at some posts on Google and of course many focus on the financial aspect. Fewer write about the experience
and the daily aspects of retirement living.
I will likely speak more about that.
When you go to bake a cake you need 4 or 5 ingredients.
Likewise, retirement calls for a few essentials...money and health (physical and mental) and a personal plan that is
flexible.
Money and health are basics but not enough.
Naturally most folks worry about the money or health issues as they age while overlooking the plan.
The plan you have should focus on things that you are passionate about or at least interested in.
It is likely best if retirement activities are extensions of what you have always been interested in. Golfing, boating,
travelling and volunteering come to mind.
Now you have no job requirements to intervene. This is a great feeling to have.
For example, if you are a boater or sailor you perhaps liked getting away for a long weekend to a quiet anchorage.
Now in retirement you can go for longer periods and farther away from your home port.
During the early years of my retirement I was able to sail and motor from Toronto, Canada to southern Florida and
from there to Cuba.
Time was not a factor and you lived cheaply by anchoring off and coming ashore in a dinghy.
My older son was with me and we splurged on an ice cream pie from a local Florida supermarket in Miami Beach.
Perhaps, you enjoy camping, travelling or motor home living.
Definitely RV living is popular in America and Europe.
One of my friends spent the early days of his retirement travelling across America in his small motor home.
He shared his story with his children and friends.

29. Travelling to new places in your own country or overseas is now possible with cheap airfares.
Back in 1973 I paid over 750 dollars for a return ticket from Toronto to Amsterdam.
You could likely find a ticket for half that price today.
On my first trip we rented a VW bug and camped in Holland, Germany and Sweden.
Even today one can find hostel beds for 10 Euros in many cities.
Yes, go first class if you have millions.
So I am sure that you are convinced that retirement will give you time.
Hopefully you have the money and health.
Another overlooked factor in retirement planning is, 'what is your partner interested in?'
She/he may like weekend cruising but not want an ocean crossing or a 3 month cruise to Lake Superior.
Some camping and hiking may appeal to him/her but not meeting bears in the mountains.
This is where some planning and flexibility is needed.
Hopefully your partner will give you the freedom 'to do your thing.'
At least mine never stood in my way if I wanted to go someplace that did not interest her.
She was happy with an ocean cruise for a week or a trip to visit grandkids.
I likely need to explain how I got from Canada to a life in Bali, Indonesia.
It was not in my early retirement plan at all.
I suppose it related to an interest in travelling to foreign lands.
After all I had been to India with a friend 3 or 4 times prior to retirement.
During my early years of retirement I visited Central and South America during the Canadian winter. I even had the
strength to hike the Inca Trail in Peru.
But at 70 years it was a challenge to climb the Acropolis in Athens!
So exercise is an area I need to work on.
In the future I can describe some of my periods in this life stage.

37. Interesting email I received. April the 5th.
THIS is what I mean by false hype.
I had been following this admin for years as a newbie.
Joining in with all his new launches.
Then it dawned on me, Was I making money NO.
All I was doing was making him rich.
Signing up every few months with his new launches, then getting very disappointed with very little results.
I have come to the conclusion. This happens with to many owners.
Forgetting about the old sites which needs looking into and improving.
Instead launching new sites over and over.
SO I STOPPED>

1. You run out of money
Yep. There's only so long you can go on pumping money into something
which doesn't work.
No amount of finger-crossing or positive thinking is gonna dig you out of that hole.
2. Your latest "idea" falls on its butt (again)
It's gonna happen.
You know why?
Because it's your idea and not something which is already proven to work.
Trust us - copy what works! Don't try to reinvent the horse.
3. Flying solo is a dangerous pursuit You're gonna screw up.
No matter how good you think you are.
No matter how good you actually are.
You're gonna make a howler and the plane is gonna go down because
you have nobody there to guide you in the right direction or back you up.
The lesson here?
Invest in something which will definitely make you money
because all the hard work is done for you!
My opinion.
I am still waiting for his last venture to give me results.

39. Working from home life style. I love gardening.
This is a way of clearing my head.
It is great for the body mind spirit and soul.
I find gardening very relaxing.
It releases all my frustrations.
I get great satisfaction of giving away my plants.
I took the photo of the man pruning the tree out
of my kitchen window. No fear he shows.
I have a long way to go for my plants to be as
high as Mark's Cactus. Blew me away when I
saw them.

41. Earthquake recovery.
We went exploring the inner city December 2016 to see what developments were taking place.
The chairs are an interesting memorial.
One chair represents a life lost on that day.
It bought tears to my eyes when I looked at the highchair. Reminding me of a client who lost her baby that day, when
the TV fell and crushed her.
Point of interest thousands of elderly residents from the old folk homes were sent out of town to new locations.
Over 95% never returned to Christchurch again.
My own beautiful mum passed away in to 2012 only one year later.
I feel she was weakened and never fully recovered that day.
It was so exciting to see the tram up and running.
I loved the mural around the Cathedral. Showing our communities local talent.
Sadly people are still debating the future on how to restore and save it.
The buildings popping up are like a breathe of fresh air. Bringing new life and energy to the city.
People are starting to buzz around again losing the fears which have taken years to disappear.
Businesses are starting to recover.
The Re-Start Mall is a great site to see. Shipping containers turned into temporary shops.
We have had over 10,000 after shocks. Every now and then we are reminded when the earth skakes.
Not knowing what will eventuate.
Sometimes the internet gets very slow and I have no access.
It is great as I still can generate an income even when not on line.
As everything is working in the back ground. Even as I sleep I am still building my on line network.
It took me a few years to get my head around everything.
I enjoy seeing my team progress when they follow the plan. I have done all the donkey work for them.

43. Housebound Review.
When you are housebound and movement is differcult.
YOU need to exercise and push the bountries.
I took photo's of everything. Recording my progress.
Recording all the new challenges I was able to overcome.
When I look back at some of the hospital photo's .
Way to graphic to share with the public.
It reminds me of how far I have come over the years.
I use to say illness is not a disability just a challenge.
I started to fill in my days writing with the sole purpose of one day publishing my books.
Today this is a another goal achieved.
The motto of this is that it doe's not matter how many years it takes to achieve your goals.
It is about the excitement when you do.
My Life line was GDI and V Traffic Rush.
When housebound and bored in 2009.
I did not see my investments as a waste of money.
Instead I saw them as a life line.
Giving me hope and goals. + hours of entertainment
GDI I discovered in 2009. Transferring my store to the internet.
Using my GDI domain to design my SFI training website in 2013.
This was when I was introduced to the wonders of affiliate marketing.
SFI is where I transferred my store in 2010.
Setting up my own shopping ECA website. Connecting with over 100,000 members. Exploring and learning daily.
Getting excited about the opportunity of being able one day to start earning a Second Income with their SFI Affiliate Program.
Playing their games for hours, keeping myself entertained.
Well worth the investment for keeping myself Sane.
No more boring moments trying to fill in the day. Housebound and sore.
I wake up each morning with a new sense of achievement.
My mind is occupied, no time to dwell on the pain within.
After the Earthquakes in 2011. I lost everything.
Needing to relocate and build my strength up once again.
This putting my reversal on hold. Due to all the earthquake damage.
Then in 2012 I went private for my operation.
Which was a success.
I started Doing Tia Chi Every Tuesday in 2017.
Putting on my DVD daily. Stretching and making sure to exercise.
As I am at the computer a lot... I started to gain weight.
Things had to change. So I set up a daily exercise plan.

46. Marks Place.
Is a great place to go and escape reality.
Bryan and his work mates went to
Marks for a Boys Weekend.
He told me he crashed in a castle.
I was expecting to see something the
size of a dolls house.
Can you imagine my surprize.
If ever feeling depressed or down in the
dumps.
Once you arrive all you can do is smile.
Such a relaxed atmosphere.
He has his own entertainment centre he
designed. To hang out and watch some
movies.
Hi is so talented.
His entire house has huge concrete
sculptures.
Everything starts with wire mesh then
he hand fills the concrete. Very
impressive.
In all my years of doing markets, I have
never seen a stall that comes close to
Marks Art Works.
All the roofs in his house are painted.
As Bryan say's every time he comes to
visit, he sees something new.
