This document provides instructions for a Latino media critical paper assignment. Students are asked to create their own example of a Latino media artifact that addresses course themes. The paper should be 6-9 pages and include at least 4 credible academic sources. Students are provided examples of source types like books about media, streaming video/scripts, and interviews. Search techniques for finding scholarly sources are also outlined, including the use of keywords, operators like AND and OR, and limiting searches to peer-reviewed sources. Students are directed to library databases for credible academic sources.
