Columbia Gas of Ohio serves 1.4 million customers across 60 Ohio counties and 173,000 in northwest Ohio. It will invest nearly $2 billion over the next 25 years to modernize its system and ensure safe, reliable delivery of natural gas. This includes replacing aging pipelines and 320,000 prone-to-fail gas meters at customers' homes at no direct cost to customers. The investment requires a rate increase to fund infrastructure improvements and customer programs.
