1. Colour Connotations
I chose to use the colours white, black and crimson red.
I chose white because It represents innocents and good, it
presents a pure heart which reflects the personality and
selflessness of the movie’s main protagonist.
I chose to use black because it is such an opposite to
white, it would stand out and grab the attention of the
reader much more than a bright colour would. Black
represents the darkness and evil that is constantly shown
throughout the film and also the dark side to some
characters.
Finally, I chose crimson red because it is the colour that
represents death, blood and murder, 3 subjects that are
referenced many times through out the film. Crimson is a
good in between colour for black and white because it also
describes the main characters determination to protect his
friends and family and do his job well.
