Julie Federico is an award-winning children’s author. Her previous book
topics include: child abuse, anger control, school violence prevention and now
friendship. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree
in Counseling and Educational Psychology from Indiana University. Federico was
a middle school counselor for over a decade and enjoyed great job security as
she worked through a plethora of friendship issues that all seemed to follow a
familiar path. This path of friendship, harmony, and disharmony inspired her to
write Friends are Wonderful.
