How do “We” compete with that?
The Global Learning Framework © “Starts with a real need” A need is futility Unless someone shares a solution Education is Power Education is Community
We have all of this knowledge. What do we do with it?
Perhaps we are there… When learning went to the Web, something really big happened. Home  School  Organizations  The World

Global Learning Framework © - Knowledge Needs Sharing Responsibility Knowledge
You don’t understand… I am this This(widow to Global Knowledge) lives inside of me. Our authoritarian time of knowing more than the student is gone. They need wisdom-guidance and not facts.
Global Learning Framework © ”Is accepting that you don’t own knowledge” Knowledge is globally collaborative -RC If you were given the knowledge to heal a sick child… would you deny it to them until you saw the profit in helping them?
What is Knowledge? Physical Object Or Physical Laws Wrapped in Non-physical Context
“ Knowledge is an object / law in relationship with the universe” - RC eLearning SCORM - Collaboration A Fact without Context
“ Knowledge is an object / law in relationship with the universe” - RC Knowledge Object + Context Reality
Tag Your It! Web 3.0 is the human world off collaborative tools , context by tagging
Knowledge without context is… useless Eugène Ionesco (1909–1994) “ The knife can kill” From the play “The Lesson” The Knife (or nuclear bomb) just is…. now what we do with it is another matter.
Collaboration teaches context “ Human collaboration is what wraps context around and within a Knowledge Element/Object” – RC
Values/context shape how we view knowledge Sorry… We must revisit our education debate on “Values Clarification” and present an ethical framework for context.
Knowledge is connected to emotions, values and spirit New Rule: ”Knowledge elements are not time and space locked in a data base. They are defined… by how they relate to one another in the human experience. That relationship defines the purpose of that piece of knowledge” - RC Another Rule: ”Context defines relationship on the Internet” - RC And Another Rule: ”Collaboration publishes context” - RC
It starts with understanding the relationship between an “Object” and “Purpose” ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],She is more than just a “ sharable content object”
Knowledge is connected to emotions, values and spirit New Rule: ”Knowledge elements are not time and space locked in a data base. They are defined… by how they relate to one another in the human experience.” - RC Hmmm… What about Knowledge Management and SCORM?
SCORM Ignores The Human Element “Sharable Content Object Reference Model” New Rule: ”Knowledge and Human Collaboration are Inseparable” - RC You mean my voice counts?
Global Learning Framework © - Sharing Needs Knowledge Responsibility Sharing
” Global Learning Framework © ”The new test is in sharing what you know” When we share what was given to us… we define our significance.
Knowledge is Fluid Because it is Shared New Rule: ”Learning is fluid and evolves collectively based on need, collaboration and context.” - RC Yes…no more tests on Friday! An “A” means nothing. It’s my YouTube views that matter.
Web 3.0 Context is Knowledge w/ Purpose ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],I am a child in Kenya. I am in your life right now! What will you do with me?
How do we know who owns what? We will have to figure it out: ”Like an original pop song being copyrighted, collaborative knowledge is always a mix of many influences that are also copyrighted. So far we have gotten away with copyrighting the knowledge object. How do we copyright human collaboration? Can we copyright a value or emotion that makes the knowledge of value to the world? I think not” - RC Mom!!!…Billy won’t share his ball with me!
How do we get out of the industrial learning box? Hmmm…I’m not sure if I’m ready for this.
