Cole Bennett was born in 1996 in Illinois and began his film career in high school when his mother gifted him a video camera. He founded the YouTube channel Lyrical Lemonade to upload videos of Chicago rap shows. In 2017, his music video for Lil Xan's "Betrayed" gained recognition. By 2018, Bennett had become one of the most prominent music video directors, known for videos like Juice WRLD's "Lucid Dreams," working with major artists like J. Cole and Wiz Khalifa.

2. Early life
• Cole Bennett was born May 14, 1996, in Illinois and was raised
alongside two sisters in the town Plano. Cole went to Plano High
School.
• The start of his filming career started when he was gifted his first
video camera by his mother. He knew he wanted to be in the rap
industry and would travel with his friends to Chicago every weekend
to link up with small artists by filming live shows. These artists
include, Chief Keef and Chance the Rapper. Also one of his early
inspirations was film director Austin Vesely who worked with Chance
the Rapper.

3. Lyrical Lemonade
• Cole Bennett originally founded Lyrical Lemonade as an internet blog
when he was a high school student in Plano, Illinois. His Mother came
up with the name “Lyrical Lemonade”. When he recorded the live
shows in Chicago he would upload them to the Lyrical Lemonade
channel. In 2016 and early 2017 he begin to get recognition with his
work with working with artists such as Lil Pump and Ski Mask the
Slump God. In August 2017, he directed the music video of Lil Xan’s
single, Betrayed which he uploaded to Lyrical Lemonade. This was
certified Platinum by the RIAA in 2018.

4. Blowing Up
• In 2018 Cole begin to take over the Music Video seen with features
including Lil Skies Red Roses and Nowadays and YBN Nahmir’s Bounce
Out With That. Soon after he became one of the most recognizable
music video directors after directing the music video of Juice WRLD’s
Lucid Dreams, which peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
He has since worked with mainstream figures in hip hop such as J
Cole and Wiz Khalifa.
