3. Notes to the Audited Financial Results
1 The above results have been approved by the Board of Directors at its meeting held on 17 April, 2008.
2 *Consolidated results comprise consolidation of the financial results of CMC Limited and its wholly owned
subsidiary CMC Americas, Inc.
3 There were no investor grievances pending as at 1 April, 2007. The Company received 51 investor grievances
during the year ended 31 March, 2008. All 51 grievances were resolved. No grievances were outstanding as at
31 March, 2008.
4 The Board of Directors proposed a dividend of Rs.11/- per share (110% on an equity share of par value of
Rs.10) subject to approval of members of the Company at the Annual General Meeting.
5 Previous period figures have been regrouped, wherever necessary, for the purpose of comparison.
