Cloud computing provides advantages like improved collaboration and data storage. However, it also faces security issues. Key issues include data loss if sensitive data is not fully controlled, hacked interfaces/APIs if public services are accessed improperly, and account hijacking giving hackers full access. Other risks are vendor lock-in problems when switching providers, lack of skilled staff to manage cloud security, and denial of service attacks overloading systems with traffic. Proper precautions are needed to mitigate these risks of cloud computing.
