This document discusses cloud native computing and open source. It provides an overview of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), including that it has over 450 members and oversees 21 graduated projects and 21 projects in its sandbox. It notes that Kubernetes is unique as both a project and community in open source. It highlights data on the growing diversity and international nature of CNCF contributors and attendees.
