A team from Lithuania created a cloud in a bottle using a plastic bottle, air pump, water, rubbing alcohol, and rubber stopper. They poured alcohol into the bottle to puddle at the bottom, then inserted and pumped air through the stopper before quickly removing it to form a cloud inside the sealed bottle as the alcohol evaporated.

2. We needed
• 1-liter, clear plastic bottle
• Air pump
• Water
• Rubbing alcohol
• Solid rubber stopper

3. First step
We poured a little alcohol into
the bottle so it puddled in the
bottom.

4. Second step
We inserted the stopper into
the bottle and pumped eight
to ten times.

5. Final step
We quickly removed the stopper and watched the cloud form
almost instantly in the bottle.
