This document provides information about viewing and understanding the tree of life using the OneZoom online platform. It discusses how OneZoom allows users to explore over 1.7 million species on the tree of life spanning 3 billion years of evolution. It also introduces several tools and software programs that can facilitate analyses of large phylogenetic trees, such as Arbor, which allows users to perform biogeographical reconstructions and compare phylogenetic trees for different groups of organisms.
