1. Client export and import tasks related to ticket #105311
EXPORT
Log into the source system. In our case it is the production system.(PRD.300QAS.220)

Login to the PRD.300 client and run the transaction scc8 for client export.
Select the proper profile.(eg .SAP_ALL)
Select the Target system. In our case the target system is the Quality QAS.220.
After that schedule it as the background job.
After the export got initiated monitor the following.
1) Login to the OS level monitor the space for logs.
2) In our case it is SQL Server; at SQL Enterprise manager monitor the Transactional log
space.

2. At file system level check the export activity in usr/sap/trans/tmp.
IMPORT
1) For Import run the transaction STMS in the source client, in our case it is PRD.300.
2) Go to Import Overview to see the import Q.
3) Select the system in which the import needs to be done, in out case it is QAS.

3. After importing check the Overview of transport logs.

4. 1) For adding to Buffer in the menu select Other request Add.
2) For adding the Transport request to the import queue the following information are
needed.
Transport request
Import Queue
Target Client.
3) After adding to the import Q, select the request and import (Select Import Request icon
……Don’t select the option Import All Request by mistake).

5. Deleting a import request:1) To delete a import request, in the menu choose RequesDelete.
2) Before step 1 chose the request to be deleted.
3) If not able to delete the request check for tp.exe(SAP Services) and r3trans.exe(SAP
Services) in the
Task manager still running if so kill the process and again try for deleting the
Import request.
Post Import Processing:1) Run the transaction scc7.

6. Deleting a import request:1) To delete a import request, in the menu choose RequesDelete.
2) Before step 1 chose the request to be deleted.
3) If not able to delete the request check for tp.exe(SAP Services) and r3trans.exe(SAP
Services) in the
Task manager still running if so kill the process and again try for deleting the
Import request.
Post Import Processing:1) Run the transaction scc7.
