This document provides a reading check sheet to help students monitor their comprehension of texts. The check sheet includes spaces for students to record the title, author, and date read for each text. Students can then check off boxes indicating whether they understood the main idea and key details, asked questions while reading, made connections or inferences, and visualized what was happening. The check sheet is designed to help students self-assess their reading strategies and comprehension.
