WELCOME CLASSHello and welcome to US History. We are going to have a great year together if we all can follow these simple classroom policies.
Arriving & leaving the classroomArrival- When you arrive to class you please take your seat before the bell rings. If you arrive late to class you will be subject to a warning. If you repeat the offense again, points will be taken off your participation grade, so DON’T BE LATE!!!Dismissal Time- Class ends when the period bell rings. If you are caught leaving the classroom before the bell rings the same punishments will be assigned as if you were late.
Classroom RulesRESPECT- Please respect others the way you want to be treated. Violators will suffer special privileges during class.Raise your hand- If you want to be called on, contribute to the class, or need and type of help, please raise your hand and I will assist you as soon as possible. You will be asked to raise you hand if ignored, and if broken again the loss of points will be assessed. Interrupting- Please refrain from talking when others have the floor. You will get your equal chance to express your opinion or contribute when its your turn. Offenders will have to wait their turn or might be passed up on.
Classroom RulesFoul Language- Foul language will not be tolerated in any way during school hours. If rule is broken you will be subject to leave class for the rest of the peirod.Cell Phones- Cell phones are not to be seen during class. Violators will have their phones taken away and given to the office for further punishment.Anyone else have any other rules to add to the list?
