2. Introduction
• Attorney Joseph Solfanelli, a four-decade veteran of
law, dedicates his spare time to serving the
community. A member of the Scranton Cultural
Center, he also supports Boy Scouts of America and
the Salvation Army of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
When time allows, attorney Joseph Solfanelli likes
to relax by seeing a ballet and listening to classical
music.
According to National Public Radio (NPR), the
following albums topped the charts for best in
classical music in 2014.

3. Classical Albums
• 1. By Leon Fleisher, All the Things You Are features
Federico Mompou's Prelude No. 6 and J.S. Bach's
Chaconne, among other compositions. Unique to the
artist is his ability to perform the tracks with only the use
of his left hand, since his right hand lost functionality in
the 1930s.
2. Carl Nielsen: Symphonies Nos. 1 & 4 "The
Inextinguishable" showcases the talent of conductor
Alan Gilbert and the New York Philharmonic. Dubbed a
celebration of Nielsen by The New York Times, the
album consists of rambunctious glee and potent
introspection that are iconic to the composer’s personal
style.

• 3. City Noir, performed by the St. Louis
Symphony Orchestra under David Robertson, is
comprised of six tracks including a trio of
saxophone concertos played by Timothy
McAllister. The album highlights jazz from the
1940s and 1950s.
