2. Happy Tomato Throwing!
Chaos is everywhere! Probably the best type of chaos. This is a full blown war.
Your weapon is your tomato and there is barely anywhere to hide. As the first
firework is heard, people are scrambling to get their tomatoes. You can hear
cries of joy and excitement as the tomato war is about to begin.
Out of nowhere, a tomato smacks you right in the face. The taste is horrid and
as the tomato squishes your face, you notice it is surprisingly soft. Another
tomato hits you in the face. And another. And another. There is no time to
think and nowhere to hide. People throw tomatoes frantically in the air and at
each other. Your vision starts to blur as tomato juice seeps into your eyes. You
too grab tomatoes and throw them at random strangers. Normally, if this was
any other day, throwing food at a random stranger is absolutely rude and an
act of dishonor. The stranger who got hit with your tomato on the other hand
laughs and continues on throwing these red fruits in all directions.
Buildings are boarded up to minimize the amount of tomatoes being thrown
at them. People are screaming with glee, and you are in the middle of
everything, already drenched in red juices.
Finally, you hear the second firework. The war is over. People look at each
other smiling and grinning, patting each other on the back. You hurriedly
make your way back to your complex and wash off the mess. As you look out
the window, communities help each other clean up the city and restore what
was once the city of East Spain.
3. Happy Tomato Throwing!
On a hot day, people from Spain, in the Valencian town of Buñol, fled over to
the streets with handfuls of tomatoes, 22,000 people gathered 150 tons of
tomatoes. It was a war about to begin, then, after they got the ham from the
slippery stick, they heard fireworks, they knew it was coming. People from all
over the town gathered as many tomatoes as they could, and threw them over
and over again, till the city turned red, people exhausted on the floor covered
in tomato juice, then the fireworks began to go off again, people smiled and
laughed at the experience, they just survived a tomato war!
