The Mad Science Preschool Workshop focused on dinosaurs through engaging activities like role playing as different dinosaurs, examining dinosaur fossils, making tooth casts, digging for dinosaur "fossils", and drawing dinosaurs. The workshop brought prehistoric science to life for preschoolers through hands-on, inquiry-based lessons incorporating science process skills like observing, comparing, classifying, and applying knowledge. Students learned about dinosaur life cycles, herbivores vs carnivores, and how fossils are formed and pieced together. The preschoolers were actively engaged throughout the fun and interactive workshop.
