4. Define the terms blood pressure and
pulse
 The pressure of the blood that pushes out on the walls of the blood vessels
is called blood pressure. Blood pressure in the human aorta may be
around 120 mmHg, or 16KPA.
 Pulse are strong surges of blood travelling in artery caused by the heart
beat.
