This document discusses classroom routines and materials for a language integrated curriculum. It covers the tasks of the student in charge, behavior during lessons, use of electronic notebooks, notebook types, and note taking strategies. The student in charge summarizes the previous lesson and informs classmates of homework. Students are expected to participate actively and work collaboratively. Electronic notebooks can only be used for class assignments and proper notebook organization is encouraged through binders and dividers. Effective note taking involves writing headings, numbering pages, and leaving space for additions.

Class routines (2) : behaviour during lessons
Everyone waits for the teacher in their seat ready to take
notes.
The notebook must be ready and the date and session must be
written on the sheet of paper when the teacher comes in.
Students put up their hands if they want to ask questions.
Nobody is allowed to stand up or leave their seat unless it is
part of a class activity or the teacher gives permission to do
so.
Five minutes before the end of the lesson, the teacher gives
the chance to recap what was done during the lesson.
Students write a summary in their notebook and/or do it
orally.
Everyone contributes and participates in class activities.
Group and pair work is more than sitting next to each other.
Peer correction, peer help and sharing responsabilities is a
must.

Class routines (3): Using electronic notebooks
The teacher will appoint a couple of students to hand in the notebooks and
to collect them at the end of the class.
The distribution and collection of notebooks will be done in an orderly
manner following the teacher’s indication .
When using notebooks, it is forbidden to carry our tasks different from
the ones assigned by the teacher. (surfing social network sites, chats is
forbidden)
Remember to close your session and log out before returning notebooks to
their locker.
When using notebooks without headphones, switch off the sound, so as not
to disturb your classmates.
Bring a set of headphones and keep them in your pencilcase, in case you
need to use them for listening activities.
If your notebook does not work or you notice any problem, report it to
the teacher. Fill in an incidence form, explaining what the problem is, and
give it to the secretary.
You must check if the previous user logged out. If not, you must close the
session and log out before logging in.
