1. Information about CIA Qualification Supplement
If you want to take the CIA qualifications supplement, you have to do some research first.
Start by going to the CIA website and assess the courses offered. You will see the
compensation levels and requirements.
Making an Account and Qualifications
Put the required information in the account. You have three days to complete the test. You
should try out for the position you are most qualified for. You can try for a maximum of four
jobs. The people at the HR department will determine if you are fit for the job. You will be
given forms to start the process.
You have to provide your area of expertise. What are your skills? What did you major in and
what are your abilities? You must include your employment record and present employment
(if any). Other documents that will be required are licenses, certificates and educational
background.
If you have military experience, include that; it will help. If you can speak other languages,
add that too. Depending on what position you are applying for, writing samples and
transcripts will be needed. Prepare them all beforehand.
The Personnel Evaluation Form
If you are applying for CIA jobs, the Personnel Evaluation Form must be completed. The
form will include security clearances, a polygraph test and background investigation.
Also included are disciplinary proceedings or military discharges and employment issues. The
CIA will also investigate any law violations, drug activity and criminal records.
Other Requirements
In some applications you will have to write a 500 word essay. They may also ask questions
that require a definite answer. Once your application has been processed, there may be some
more additional forms to fill out. Study the forms thoroughly so you do not make mistakes
when filling them up.
Completion of the Package
Once the entire application has been formed, keep a copy of all the forms and save them.
They may be required when your application is being assessed. After your application has
been submitted, your account will be deleted.
A confirmation message will appear. That is the only response you will get. One application
form will be enough. If you send more, this will hamper your chances of getting hired. The
agency will get in touch if you are accepted.
You need to be completely honest when applying at the Central Intelligence Agency. Do not
leave anything out. The background check will be very thorough.
