God decided in advance to adopt us in to His own family
by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ.This is
what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure.

Pure and genuine religion in the sight of
God the Father means caring for
orphans and widows in their distress and
refusing to let the world corrupt you.

God places the lonely in families; he sets
the prisoners free and gives them joy.

7. HOW DO WE RESPONDTOTHIS?
■ BE A PRACTITIONER
Isaiah 58:7
Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to
the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them,
and do not hide from relatives who need your help.

8. ■ BE AN ADVOCATE
- One who PUBLICLY SUPPORTS or recommends a
particular cause

10. HOW?
- Prayer, house cleaning, groceries, donate supplies,
lawn care, meals, attend court hearings with them,
baby sitting, transportation, money, respite care
Ezekiel 16:49

- A person who fights for a cause on behalf of
someone else

oppressed go free, and remove the chains that bind
people.

Learn to do good, seek justice, correct oppression;
