This document is the user agreement that students need to sign in order to be able to use the equipment.

1. STCC Chromebook Loan Policies ​& ​User Agreement
Requirements
• Chromebooks are available for loan to current STCC students with library accounts in
• good standing.
• STCC issued ID​'​s are required for check out.
• User Agreement forms must be signed prior to initial check out.
• User Survey must be completed at check in​.
Rules
• Chromebooks are loaned for a period of ​14​ days.
• Chromebooks cannot be reserved.
• Renewals will be accepted in the library only, with the Chromebook and accessories
present.
• Chromebooks must be returned in person to a STCC library staff member ​.
Notes:
Borrowers are expected to follow existing library and campus computer use policies.
Borrowers are expected to save all work to a USB drive​, ​email attachment or Google Docs as
Chromebooks will be reset upon check in.
The safety and care of the Chromebook and accessories is the sole responsibility of the
borrower upon check out.
Damage to the Chromebook and/or accessories will result in a bill for replacement.
Failure to return a Chromebook and accessories in a timely manner will result in a remote
shutdown of the Chromebook ​, ​a $350 ​.​00 bill for replacement and a college block.
I have read and agree to comply with the Chrome Book loan rules, and accept responsibility for
the Chrome Book throughout the entire period of the loan.
