Ebenezer Scrooge, a miser, is visited by the ghosts of his deceased partner, Jacob Marley, and three spirits representing the past, present, and future on Christmas Eve. These visits reveal to Scrooge the consequences of his unkindness, especially its impact on his family and the life of his clerk's son, Tiny Tim. Ultimately, Scrooge transforms into a kind-hearted person, seeking redemption and a chance to amend his wrongs.
