The Beautiful People SSJ6 show was all about girls growing into women, which was reflected
in the mature lace mixed with baby doll silhouettes.
Some people never grow up, but that doesn't mean they can't look grownup. For his Beautiful
People SS16 show in Tokyo, designer Hidenori Kumakiri uses feminine icons to tell a story of
girls becoming women. The girlish mingles with the womanly in the form of Victorian boater
hats with plaid schoolgirl skirts and mini backpacks with spaghetti straps. The models wear flat-
soled sandals that a little girl would wear during summer, which is an ironic contrast with the
mature details. The main hairstyle of choice for the show is the haphazard high bun that Britney
Spears popularized in the early 2000's when she began resembling a hung-over sorority girl. The
defining color of this collection is the cool mint ice cream green that activates the taste buds.
Since the clothing spans girlhood and womanhood, the collection is for women of different ages.

The Christian Dada SS16 collection is full of loose clothing for a stylish
city woman who seeks to get what she wants out oflife.
The first model in the Christian Dada SS 16 Tokyo show wore her wavy hair in a half up, half
down style like Carrie Bradshaw from Sex & the City. This opening model set the tone for the
show painting a tale ofcity life for a woman, whether it's in Manhattan or Tokyo. The clothing is
a lesson in leisure that focuses on freedom of movement full of high-waisted wide-leg pants,
slouchy sweaters and shawl-like coats. This focus on leisure owes a lot to the 1970s where the
culture was about loosening up, whether it is loosening clothing or minds.
That aside, Christian Dada's creative director Masanori Morikawa's collection is for many
women who have or want lives full of romance, satisfying careers and family time; it's for
women who still believe that the can have it all. Look through our list of the top 10 looks from
Christian Dada SS16.

Stockholm Fashion Week was a melting pot of styles that focused on relaxed lines and soft
fabrics. There were subversions that were surprising for how well they worked: epaulets and
straw farmer hats were flashy additions to conservative styles. Think outside of the box this
spring and wear clothing in a host of new ways.

"The Devil Wears Prada" as part of the Venice Film Festival. Among those attending: Anne
Hathaway and Meryl Streep. Credit: INFGoff.com
In a great bit of irony, the 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada carries none of the unusual elements
of the Prada brand and instead goes for a glossy glamour that's heavy on driving gloves, stilettos
and furs. The film is a fun and fabulous fantasy of the fashion industry that centers on fresh
college graduate Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) who starts working as an assistant for the Anna
Wintour-inspired Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), the Editor-in-Chief offashion magazine
Runway. David Frankel, who's directed several Sex and the City episodes, creates a movie that's
part Sex and the City and part Cinderella story. Like Carrie Bradshaw, The Devil Wears Prada
has shoe game for days and the shoes summon spirits from the past.
Take a peek at the top ten best shoes featured in The Devil Wears Prada.

Kings of Cole and Guess shake up the
standard summer styles

This summer is going to be hot and the best way to keep it at bay is to cool off with clothing. The
popular brands Kings of Cole and GUESS are offering comfortable clothing that's functional and
fashionable.
Both brands are delivering clothes that have classic American silhouettes, with surprising
subversive elements that encourage people to be down-to-earth but rebellious. Seize the day is
what these clothes say.
Kings of Cole all started with an old boyfriend's hoodie, which accounts for the gender neutrality
of the clothes. On the brand's website female models wear the boyfriend's clothes achieving a
slight tom boy style, while when the male models wear the same clothes their gym bods are
accentuated by a snug fit.

The standout women's pieces are the cropped sweatshirt with thumbholes that achieve a
Flashdance-inspired dancer's look, especially when paired with skull-and-bones printed
leggings. A pink camo Boyfriend Henley shirt is one of the best men's pieces showcasing how
traditionally feminine colors can add an exciting new virility to a man's style.

For its Spring/Summer collection GUESS stays feminine in fit-and-flare silhouettes and 1950s
gingham, but toughens things up with mesh paneling on skirts and dresses and asymmetrical
Moto jackets; the good girl goes biker bad. Supermodel Gigi Hadid rocks the biker look to
romantic perfection in the current GUESS ad campaign
For the next Fourth ofJuly barbeque, feel stylish and satisfied in Kings of Cole and GUESS.
This summer is the chance to be a mover and shaker.

Ifyou're not a laid-back person, you will be after wearing the clothes from the Mango
Spring/Summer 2015 collection. The clothes are loose and snug in all the right places,
swaggering with the breezy 1970s style seen all over recent runways. From the moment the
luminous orange sun rose on the projected screen and the runway lit up as the first model
ascended the runway, she swayed to the guitar-driven beat with the attitude of seizing the day.
The message was clear: wear these clothes and have the time of your life this spring/summer.
That's pretty hard to resist. The fringe, the chiffon and the flo hats swa and bounce with a
Boho style that's perfect for cookouts, parties and shopping.

PRADA
The critically-acclaimed Prada fall 2015 collection is interpreted in ten
fashion editorials that present it as clothing that can be worn every day.
The Prada Fall 2015 collection has appeared on a ridiculous amount of magazine covers this
season, but all those covers are generic while the magazine editorials are something special. The
editorials depict different women wearing Prada, from Flowers in the Attic heroines to ladies at
the hair salon. The best editorials present an image of the clothing that can fit into real life
instead ofa fantastical fashion editorial. The standouts are simple with little to no set design,
putting the focus on the clothing. It Girl models Julia Nobis and Gigi Hadid appear in dreamy
pastels that suggest that Autumn/Winter will be bright and cheery. Here are the top 10 editorials
that show Prada Fall 2015 in its best light.

Top 10 sheer looks from the SS16 collections
By Christopher Cole -

redit: INFphoto.com
Sheer looks werefeatured heavily in the Spring 2016 collections in sexy, feminine styles that
were both flowing and body-hugging in pretty pinks and blues.
The sheer fabrics that were in abundance at the Spring 2016 ready-to-wear collections in Milan
radiated a look-but-don't-touch sexiness. As flowing as the chiffon and silk were, the designers
also presented these sheer fabrics as body-conscious looks, with the attractive addition of lace.
Different women were represented, from fearless skater girls to wealthy Victorian ladies who
wore sheer in cotton candy blues and pinks, as well as a cookies and cream combo of black and
white. With a taste for transparency, these women clearly keep it real.
The soft and airy sheer garments were cut in different shapes, from full-skirted ensembles and
day dresses adorning slits to bishop-sleeved blouses and beach-ready tank dresses. In sandals that
were flat and high-heeled, the models wore neckties, chokers and derby hats to convey fierce
personalities proving that soft feminine fabrics don't have to be dainty.
Find out which sheer looks stood out from the crowd with our top 10 list from the Spring 2016
collections.
