Life in school is just the same…
Both then and now,
You know, parents and teachers are the same…
No matter what place or time.
They don’t understand that we kids can make mistakes,
And we do need time to play. Ole! Ole! Ole! Ole!
So, to all kids, all across the land,
There’s no need to argue with them.
They just don’t understand…
I remember one day, my mom took me shooping.
Boring.
It was me, my dad, my dear mom and my sister.
We all hopped into the car.
There we go. downtown to LOOKING GOOD.
Mom started bugging with clothes, she thought fit me.
A green polka dot shirt.
I didn’t say anything. I just turned up my nose…
DISAPPROVING.
I asked for Johnmaster…
Even would have accepted Don or Orlando…
Nothing was appealing to her…
Finally, she went to Pasar Malam
Buy one shirt, One Free…
What? Yes that’s what she bought for me…
A brandless shirt made in 1983.
“Mom, what are you doing? You will ruin my rep. My reputation!”
“ You are in your teens and you don’t have a reputation yet”
Mom…It’s the new millennium…the 21st
century…
We also have our reputation and style.
