This document outlines the agenda and proceedings for a Choose Civility Maryland Summit hosted by the Howard County Library System. The summit brought together representatives from Choose Civility chapters across the state to discuss strategies for promoting civility in their communities. Attendees learned about the Choose Civility structure and heard reports from existing chapters. They also discussed opportunities for collaboration, such as a statewide Choose Civility month and grant opportunities to fund local initiatives that measure the impact of promoting civility. The summit concluded with representatives signing commitments to advance the Choose Civility mission in their counties.
