3. my inspirations/motivations
I feel inspired by shows such as Mad Men and
Breaking Bad mainly because they evoke some
sort of emotion and make me think. As a de-
signer, it is important to keep this in mind when
creating a design.
I am also inspired by vintage pieces by Toulouse
Lautrec because his pieces provide an insight to
French culture. Something each design should
capture is the essence of a specific culture,
movement or time period.
4. my inspirations/motivations
My thesis will aim to focus on advertisements and the
blind and hearing impaired. I have questions such as:
• Do advertising agencies need to think of a way to
cater their ads differently to this audience?
• What happens with the blind hears only hears the
words of a TV ad? What type of imagery goes
along with their assumptions?
• Does this audience have the same buying power as
someone with 100% sight?
