On Friday 6th March 2020 we students of 1st Prof BScN
attended a visit to Rural Health center at Chuhng Multan
Road under the supervision of subject supervisor
Ms.Uzma Firdous and Ms.Rukhsana Vincent.
The Objective of this visit was to demonstrate us how
Rural Health Center is providing primary care services to
the patients, outpatient department services, vaccination
against 10 targeted diseases. Mother and Child Health
care services. Free provision of medicines, laboratory
services.
35. TB DOTS program, malaria& dengue fever prevention,
polio eradication campaigns and community oriented
lady health worker (LHW) program.
We learnt a lot through this visit .we visited all the
departments. We also met with Medical Superiendent of
RHC, he assigned us a health worker who gave us
detailed briefing of RHC services, catchment area, and
how many BHU’s integrated with One RHC.
Feelings
We were very happy to learn about Integral health care
system of Pakistan.
36. Analysis
But we were sad to know that our health care system
needs more advancement there should be more BHUs
and RHCs to meet the growing needs of growing
population.
We are lagging behind millennium development goals,
we also need a lot of work to do MCH and EPI as

My name is ______________,I am student of BSN 1st
year at SWCON(FMH),we were allocated to visit
RHC,Choung under the supervision of Mam Uzma
Firdous.
Situation:
This was our first visit. Our teacher had already guided
us about this visit.We were excited to know that how this
center provide primary health care services to patients
living in rural community.
39. Feelings:
when we entered in the RHC we were welcomed by
LHV and other paramedics present there. They warmly
welcomed us.Then LHV provided us very useful
information about vaccination.we saw the whole
building with our instructor.They told us about different
medications and equipment.At last we took a group
photo with the staff of RHC .It was very joyful and
informative visit.
Analysis:
We analysed that:
RHC chung is providing all facilities but laking in
ambulatory services and diagnostic services.
40. Conclusion:
The visit to RHC was very informative for us.
Through this visit we got a lot of information about
primary health care services.
41. Suggestions:
The RHC chung lack in
ambulatory and diagnostic
services ,so there should be
provided the basic
diagnostic and ambulatory
services.
